Some New Things
Radio mixes are done and being sent to various radio stations
in the Pittsburgh area. So go ahead and start calling in those
requests. We would like to welcome the newest member of the team
- RINGO. Your calm manner and eagerness to learn will be a great
addition. Here's hoping we don't kick your butt too hard ;)!!!
TME Recordings has a new division Logo. This basically means
nothing other than making our graphics guys happy.
Daryl
Strodes is currently
back touring Hong Kong & Shanghai throughout the winter.
He'll be appearing mostly at Park 97. He'll be back in the USA
at the end of February.
Closed For The Holidays
We are at that time when we wind down and begin to heal from
the long year. We can all sit back and regroup. Enjoy our family
and friends. Rejuvenate our energy to begin an assault on what
is promising to be a great year ahead. It is also the time of
year that we drain our bank accounts to rain gifts on our loved
ones. Whether you panic while shopping, reflect on old times
or prepare for what lays ahead, the entire TME family would like
to take this time to wish all our fans, friends and family all
around the world a very merry holiday season.
Purchasing CD's
Everyone loves to get music for Christmas. It's even better when
it's something good that you've never heard before. So why not
buy someone special something from one of our great artists before
they all get HUGE. Supplies are limited and we will probably
be sold out in retail outlets by January, 2005. To buy any of
our CD's go to our PRODUCT
PURCHASE Page
or see a list of area that may have some left but we recommend
calling first. Hurry because they are going fast.
Mystery Rapper Contest
Congratulations to our Winner - Gary L. from Baltimore, MD who
guessed correctly that it was in fact
Tony Marinacci
doing the male Rap part in the song
How Low.
We guess Gary should
be thanking his friend Chris who is a member of our Forums page
for letting him hear the song while on a visit. Don't sweat it
guys there's over 6 hours of music to listen to so you'll both
get to enjoy it. If Gary will share. He was actually 1 of 3 people
that guessed right. Chris says he was the only one who guessed
lucky. Our Grand Prize Winner will receive a copy of each CD
still left of the TME Recordings catalog;
John Vento / Buddy Hall & Friends - Nied's Hotel
, Tony Marinacci - Instrumentals,
Tony Marinacci - Time For The Other Shoe To Drop, Veronica Lateef,
Reaktion and Singine as well as a bonus CD Sampler that includes
the following songs;
Here We Go (Clean Mix),
How Low,
...And Over And Over, I Can't Walk Away, No Words Today, You Look Good On Me, Aint No Sunshine (Radio Mix), Never Too Old To Rock, Is It All The Same, and 7 O'clock
as well as special track that is a remake of a classic song that
was a hit for both Jerry Butler and Tony Orlando and Dawn. Last, he will get a
Here We Go Video CD.
The other 2 who guessed right will receive a copy of the fall/winter TME CD Sampler.
Hey it's Christmas!!!

Other Stuff
Your response to the Here We Go video preview has been overwhelming
to us and our servers. Sorry if you haven't been able to watch
it we never could of expected all of the viewers. Isn't technology
wonderful¿ The John Vento / Buddy Hall & Friends - Nied's Hotel project has been a great success
so far and has gotten all rave reviews. Congrads to all the great
people on that project. Daryl Strodes has returned home to the
US from China. You can see him locally here in the 'burgh as
well as with the Freedom Band so check your local listings. We
are sorry for the delay in getting our charts up but the software
is really not cooperating (go fig). We are working on other solutions

Sum-sum-summer-time
We have just completed a major update of the site with new Logo
graphics and video enhancements. We also have better quality
audio files and eliminated the QuickTime option (sorry MAC heads
but 91% of you have MP3 players). We did miss one deadline in
that we couldn't get our new Charts feature up this month. It
seems a lot of folks want us to tell them what our best songs
are. Daryl
Strodes is currently touring Hong Kong & Shanghai throughout the summer. He'll
be appearing at L-16, Park 97 and 3 On The Bun. He'll be back
in the USA at the end of July.

Welcome To The Family
We are so proud to announce a great old friend as our newest
member Bogie. CLICK

Here Comes The New Stuff
So we said that we would be updating the News section every other
month now, but not because there's nothing to tell you about
... it's because we are so damn busy right now! First thing out
though is our condolences to Tony and his entire family for the
loss of his final grand parent Audrey Helen Woolslare on May
6. Those of us that knew her agree that she was a riot - "Oh
Christopher". Next as you may know this is now our busiest
time of the year and even though we now have twice as many people
here this year to last, it still ain't enough. We have
also significantly updated our production capabilities and so
it has taken a little longer to implement these new technologies
in time for our newest stuff coming out soon. We have made a
major decision to delay some of the new releases to then allow
these projects to utilize the newer technologies that will then
benefit the most important aspect of our projects - the listener/viewer.
So for a little taste of our new toys check out the new TME video.
Oh yea ... that new stuff we told you about is gonna be rollin
out in late June into July. We hear some other folks are gonna
be releasing something around then to and we're up for a little
competition (if that's what ya want to call it). New stuff commin
is from Tony Marinacci, Daryl Strodes, JJ and Gordie Metz as
well as featuring new artists Nicole Francis, Justan Mackowski
and Phyllis Wellons among others.

Changes
There comes a time when all good things must end. We are also
recognizing the fact that the entertainment industry as a whole
is going to be going through significant changes soon. With all
this in mind we are announcing a few changes of our own. First
TME Records, Ltd. will be changing it's name to TME Recordings.
This will take effect on April 1, 2004, but all changes won't
be complete until April 30, 2004. This will allow us to become
known as "TME Recordings - a new media company". We
feel this better reflects what TME Records has become and it
will allow our Publishing division to be relieved of the tasks
of manufacturing the various media needed by our technically
diverse clients. Next is that we will be even more present within
the local entertainment scene. There has been a radical change
the last year in local entertainment, specifically the closing
of many venues. We have been contacted by many of the new owners
moving into the vacant spots to help them in implementing the
local music at their venue. Last is, we are going to be updating
the news less frequently but still every couple of months because
it's that time of year again and we're gonna be gettin swamped.
So go out and support a concert venue near you.
Winds Of Change
There has been quite
a few changes in the last year. It was last March that we began
a recovery project from a devastating virus that took down the
company on New Years Day. We also found out last March that we
were being forced to move and the entire operation, which had
one local location for nearly 10 years, would have to separate
to different locations. Summer was as busy as it had been since
the late '90's, but more than anticipated. At mid-summer, the
most busiest time of the year, we began to get some interest
from other major clients. This was on top of what was already
a busy year creating (but those are the ones you don't get paid
for yet). After mid-year the stress and strain of growing pains
were too hard on the family which began our fourth biggest turnover
in personnel since 1987! Under staffed and facing a huge hurdle,
we moved on, and began the process of manufacturing commercial
products of our Artists in record stores through out the tri-state
area, officially by September, 2003. This was 4 months later
than planned, but still remarkable considering all that had happened
since that infamous "New Years Day Crash of 2003".
It is also testimony to our great leadership. The new opportunity
was there and a new group has come in and really stepped up now.
By the end of the year we were entertaining some of the biggest
clients and offers that we have had. We also relaunched our new
site. This year has given us such growth and more opportunity
that last year seems like 10 years ago!
We have switched Email services
so we will NOT miss any more messages. Ahh... growing pains!

The New Web Site and Other Thanx
We would like to thank Alan for all his hard work on this site
(see dude it didn't kill you). Also a special thanx to Bill W.
at Intel (for your intel) and Rob at Microsoft (for advising
us not to use Microsoft). We would like to again give a very
special thanx to Bill
Domiano for all his work and the great Forums and Private Messenger on this site.
YOU SO ROCK MAN. Are you asleep yet¿
Oh, and while we're
at it why not thank Marc and Jerome for their hard work with
Iscope. Again to Jerome for his fine work with "The Columbians"
as well as Daryl for running around helping all of us get our
stuff done and the girls (Nicole, Indira, Jamie and Phyllis)
for their great job on Enuf.
