Our winner will be
notified Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 12 noon EST. We will
be shipping these to you over night so you'll get an early present
to open for Christmas.
20,000 PLAYS
Another milestone
has passed. It seems like just earlier this year we went past
10,000 ... oh yeah, it was. We surpassed the 20k-play mark in
October and have just passed 20,000 for this site in November.
As many of you know we have had many of our songs posted on the
internet at various sites since January 2001. We have also received
many requests from listeners to again post a chart of our most
played material. We are still working hard trying to find software
to integrate into this system but have not found anything that
has worked reliable enough. We also don't wish to impose what
to listen to, and it was a reason we put off the playlists for
so long, so we're telling you that we're thinking about it. Until
then we are giving some recents web stats; We get on average
2,500 unique visitors a month, songs are played between 1,500
and 2,000 times a month and other media is played about 550 times
a month.

Winding Down
The past few months
have been as hectic as any we've had. Anyone who's hung out here
for any time knows that it's always nuts here, but we've had
our share of good and bad lately. People coming and going, 2-moves,
the great reaction to our new stuff from John Vento, Buddy Hall & Friends and
Tony Marinacci
and now we are free-agents again and have begun negotiations
with several entertainment groups. We are searching for the one
that will help us to our goal of getting a plaque in here. So
with that all out of the way we are now currently involved with
a number of outside projects. We will see about posting some
of the them on the site soon. The production end of the industry
is winding down but we are still very busy. We are also going
to be spending the next few months doing some more original stuff
which we will be previewing soon.
Reruns
We want to thank
The
Pennsylvania Rock Show
for their hospitality (all the shameless plugs) and allowing
us to rebroadcast portions of several shows that featured TME
Artists, Producers and Writers. We had received many messages
telling us that people were unable to access the show or were
simply unaware of it at the time it originally aired so we're
going to be posting them on the site. We are also going to post
the songs from those shows that were all performed live and unplugged.
Currently they are only going to be available to members of our
Forums.

1 - 2 - 3
We want to thank all
the great people at eXtremeIndieRadio.com
for playing "All The Answers",
"Only God" and "Why". They have been so well
received that they have been ranked 1-2-3 since the day they
went live 2 weeks ago. In fact, they've each gotten twice as
many plays as the next song. We are so glad everyone has enjoyed
them and there will be more to come very soon.
New Songs
3 new songs by Tony
Marinacci. This stuff is pretty rockin. We debuted a new song
September 11th and 18th here at the site. We were then invited
to debut the third songs on The Pennsylvania Rock Show
Wednesday, September 21, 2005. Members
of the Forums
can also hear the entire song for a limited time because only
a 90 second sample will be posted on the site.
Tony Marinacci Featuring:
Phyllis Wellons & Damian Yenick
Major Upgrades Completed
We have just completed
a major upgrade of all our computer systems and software. You
can see the details on our Services Page and the
Recordings Page
. Just a quick rundown on what's new, we now have
a dedicated Pro-Tools Lite (5.03 - 6.0) workstation but it will
be a non-standard item and a little extra an hour because it
is on a machine running Windows XP.
We also have a dedicated
Video Workstation. It's not a blown-out system yet but it's far
from primative and we're still pretty much in the development
stages so we can offer outstanding prices at this time.

Tony Marinacci on The Pennsylvania Rock Show
Keep an ear out for
3 new songs by Tony Marinacci. This stuff is pretty rockin. We
will debut a new song September 11th and 18th here at the site.
We have been invited to debut the third songs on
The
Pennsylvania Rock Show
Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 8 PM to 11 PM EST. Remember
though, this will be the only time you can hear the entire song.
Members of the Forums
can also hear the entire song for a limited time because only
a 90 second sample will be posted on the site.
Moving To Be Completed
We have finally settled
on our new location and will be consolidating our entire operation
under one roof for the first time in over three years. We appreciate
the patience from everyone as we have been juggling things over
the last six months. We have done all this to streamline things
and become even more efficient.

Good, Bad & The End Of An Era
Due to the change
in clientele and demands of the many professional entertainment
services we offer, our VP and one of our fearless leaders, Bobby
G, has asked to have his participation in the company reduced.
TME was one of the top live entertainment companies in the area
for over a decade. This was a direct result of a partnership
forged in the late 1980's between two members of highly regarded
entertainment families in the area. Tony's reputation, first
as a great and highly sought after live audio engineer, and now
songwriter, and the Marinacci family's experience in live entertainment
administration, as well as, the Gentille family's solid reputation
in major venue management.
Unfortunately, since
1996, Pittsburgh has had a steady decline in major productions
visiting the area, and in 2000 was officially considered a "B-Tour
City". In 2003 our live entertainment division was no longer
our leading requested service and, since then his role with the
company is not to where he'd like it to be to move forward.
As we begin to move
forward it is clear that TME is becoming redefined. Our recording
production services are now our most popular and in high demand.
All of our Producers and Writer are booked solid for months and
new talent is beginning to flock to us in droves. Also as we
do more work away from Pittsburgh, new avenues are presented
and more doors are being opened. Once again we are facing new
challenges that we will certainly prove to be capable of handling
as we have always been able to do.
Newcomer
We want to welcome
Chris to the team. He has been honing his skills in the office
for a month now and is ready to make the jump to the studio,
and boy do we need him!!! Get ready to get roughed up kid!!!
Major Upgrades Started
We will be completing
major upgrades to all our computer systems and software over
the next month. This will involve all aspects of the company.
HEY, Stacey is finally going to get her own computer to. We will
be updating our office and studio workstations We will also be
adding dedicated workstations to our Studio arsenal. More details
next month.

Like A Punch In The Gut
We would like to send
along our deepest condolences to the family of the great
Luther
Vandross (1951
- 2005) The Music Business may have lost "The World's Greatest
R&B Vocalist" but the world lost a great person. Our
VP of Legal Jerome is as crushed as if it's someone in his own
family. Luther was one of the first acts Jerome represented and
he was just impressed enough that he remembered his name but
he always made time to say hi when he came to the office. He
says that he's met SOME great people in this biz, MOSTLY some
real sh*t, but Luther was one of the most classiest people you
could have met "this one hurt bad enough to make me cry
today".
Our President Tony
met Luther through Sherwin Bash who also managed several other
acts that Tony worked for. Tony says Luther was as warm and humble
as anyone you'd like to meet. Tony says they've met many times
and mentioned he had gotten several compliments and opinions
that he still holds in high regard. I've met a lot of folks in
this biz and most I'd like to forget but you could look him in
the eye and see he was the real deal. This one's like a punch
in the gut.
If you ain't made
love to a Luther Vandross song then you ain't made love.
A Very Special Thanx
We would like to thank
John Vento, Jerry and a special thanx to Brandon at
CIS
Office Installers
for the help in our latest move. John Was very gracious in offering
to provide us with everything that we needed. Jerry made sure
we got everything that we needed and Brandon just flat out busted
his butt for us. ALL DAY LONG TILL THE END!!!
This was no small
feat because we moved our entire operation consisting of our
office, small recording studio and to top it all off, Tony's
residence. Everything went without a hitch mostly because of
their help. This really helped us maintain our high level of
service to all of our clients. So much so that many didn't even
know that we were moving until they saw our new phone number.
We want to thank our other helpers; Chris, Bob, Chuck, Darryl
and Pete who were great as well.
New Video For The Pennsylvania Rock Show
We have just completed
the video sweeper for the The Pennsylvania Rock Show
(PARS). For those of you who don't
know, PARS is an internet radio show that features the finest
unsigned bands Pennsylvania has to offer. It is hosted by Bill
Domiano who's usually joined by Punn for a broadcast of an acoustic
set of a featured band and has a live chat and web cam. Sponsored
by AK Music Scene
you can catch the show live every Wednesday night
8 PM to 11 PM. Or catch the rebroadcasts on EVERY NIGHT OF THE
WEEK.
VIDEO
As you know we don't
usually support many groups or organizations because they usually
have their own hidden agenda or are just using TME to further
their own cause. We have found the PARS to be a very genuine
program and the work that Bill Domiano and his wife Kelly does
for the Alle-Kiski area bands is like nothing we have ever seen.
TME will always pledge our support for you guys!!!
Patriotic Theme
We invite you to listen
to a great song that is very appropriate as we celebrate our
country's independence * DAY THE LADY CRIED * by
John
Vento / Buddy Hall & Friends

APOLOGIES
We apologize to all
our great radio stations for the delays in getting the radio
mixes out to you. We have had some problems beyond our control
with international/national performing rights issues that needed
to be addressed to ensure all our Writers, Producers and Artists
are informed and protected.
WE'VE MOVED
Change is always all
around us, and this month there is a lot of it. We have moved
back to the east-end neighborhoods. For those of you not familiar
with our location, it's in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh.
We are however shuffling a lot of things around as our company
is experiencing many exciting changes which we will be telling
you about in the fall. That's not too far off ya know? It's only
94 days until football season starts. GO STILLERS! But for now
enjoy the summer.
We will have our new
location conveniently located just minutes off the Parkway east
and available by appointment only. So just call our NEW phone
number, email or post mail. Our mailing address is currently
still the same. We hope to have everything nailed down by July
and have a more positive idea of where our long term location
will be by August or September. We appreciate your loyalty to
us no matter where we are located and realize that we are making
all these changes to better serve YOU.
10,000 PLAYS
As many of you know
we have had many of our songs posted on the internet at various
sites since January 2001. We have only let reputable sources
that track usages to play our material. So we are proud to announce
that on May 24, 2005 we officially logged our 10,000 play. We
have received many requests from listeners to post a chart of
our most successful material. We have been working hard trying
to find software to integrate into this system but have not found
anything that has worked reliable enough. We do not wish to impose
what to listen to, and it was a reason we put off the playlists
for so long, but there are so many styles here now that we'd
be doing our Writers, Producers and Artists an injustice by not
telling you about it.
Your Feedback On The Members Only Section
We have gotten so
many emails about the new Nied's Hotel & Tony Marinacci's
projects. We wish you'd post your comments on our
Forums
Page. They are great - We love 'em - keep 'em comin'! Only 2
new remixes to hear from the Nied's Hotel project. We are going
to be starting the vocal mixes of the new project from Tony Marinacci.
Both are shapeing up to be great projects.

Your Feedback On This Week In The Studio
One of our newest
features - This Week In The Studio has received rave reviews
from fans and others. It has also started a wave of email and
comments on our Forums
Page about the change of direction that Tony Marinacci's new
material is headed. As many of you have written that you really
like the new ROCK material, many have also written that you do
not want him to abandon the great HIP-HOP and RAP that he has
become known for. We can assure you that this is just an extension
of his creative urges and that he is already cooking up the next
batch of tunes that will include HIP-HOP, RAP and ROCK.
Your Feedback On Play Lists Features
We have also seen
a tremendous use of the Play List Feature and are including several
more. TME Radio has 20 selections and is over 30 minutes long
before starting over to play for a total of over 4 hours. All
the others have 8 to 12 songs and are 12 to 16 minutes long before
starting over.
Nied's Hotel Band On The Pennsylvania Rock Show
Join the Nied's Hotel
Band live broadcast of an acoustic set on the
Pennsylvania
Rock Show. Live
chat and web cam. Sponsored by AK Music
Scene and
Indie
Band Radio, Wednesday
night May 11, 2005, 8 PM to 11 PM. Or catch the rebroadcasts
on Mega Rock Radio
- 10 PM EST Thursday, OSH Radio
- 4 PM EST Saturday or
Extreme
Indie Radio
- 6 PM EST Sunday and 8 PM EST Tuesday.
WE'RE MOVING
We are moving all
of our production assets back to the east end neighborhoods.
Our current location was just a temporary stop that went longer
than we thought. However, due to the bad conditions of the building
and a dead-beat landlord that refuses to make any repairs, we
are forced to leave to find better digs. We have also had major
declines in our installation divisions because people are reluctant
to call because they feel we are too far from them. So we are
going back to where are client base is and re-establish some
old relationships to become a leader once again. We are currently
undecided among 3 different very nice locations so we will update
you as soon as we decide this.

This Week In The Studio & Play Lists
We're going to try
something new. Every week for the next month or 2, members of
our Forums
Page will have the chance to hear
rough mixes of some of our newest stuff done that week in the
studio. Some times even hours after it has been cut. The new
material is being written, produced and performed by Tony Marinacci
and features many area musicians. The material will feature Tony
and long time friend Damian Yenick and Chris Walsh on Guitars.
Some of the featured vocalists will be Brian Shaffer from
(kaj)
doing vocals on "All The Answers"
and "Control" as well as Adam Rossi from
Big With Seed
doing vocals on "Why".
Last but certainly not least - on the bottom, we got 'em Righi
on bass also from (kaj). This stuff is rock and not what you'd
expect to hear.
Also new are audio
play lists that you can now select for 3 different media formats.
This is our little radio station. Just select play for the media
type you want and hear a continuous stream of samples of our
top songs as you browse the site or just let it play as you go
about your day. Each play list has 20 selections and is over
30 minutes long before starting over to play for a total of over
4 hours.
We will be updating
this new feature often by adding genre play lists as well as
put them on the artists and CD pages to play those songs while
you browse the many interesting facts featured there. Not many
people realize that we have a page for each song so you can see
who of your favorite Artists, Writers and Producers have been
on these projects.
The site update went
over without a hitch. At least there was no disruption to the
public. Behind the scenes was pretty crazy though. But it has
all paid off so we can bring you these cool new features. We
can also guarantee 100% that the media we provide is secure content
to our audience as well as provide absolute protection to hard
work of our Writers and Artists.
CONGRATULATIONS
We are thrilled to
be able to congratulate the legendary band U2
for their recent induction into the
Rock And Roll Hall
Of Fame. As some
of you may know our President, CEO - Tony Marinacci was Front-Of-House
Sound Man for a few shows in the early '90's and says it is definitely
one of the highlights in his very long career in the business.
More Legends Among Us
The lineup involved
in the new Nied's Hotel project keeps getting more impressive.
Ron Beitle, local Drummer and original member of the famous band
Wild Cherry is doing an acoustic session for the new Nied's Hotel
CD playing rods/brushes on snare on "Hourglass" and
"Nied's Hotel" title track. Additionally he occasionally
sits in with the band on percussion when they do acoustic stuff.
We will be previewing the new material over the next 2 months
but if you want to hear the full song then you got to join our
Forums Page. Go
there now!
We recently caught
Ron playing live with the Nied's Hotel band - at where else -
but the Nied's Hotel where the crowd was dancin' and singin'
and movin' to the groovin' and just when it hit me somebody turned
around and shouted PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC WHITE BOY ... ahhh man
Ron we're sorry, we tried but it was just so hard to resist ...
Tour Extended
Daryl Strodes' tour
in China has been extended through May. They might never let
him come home.

News And Updates
The site is being
updated again. We've had 1,000's of visitors and over 19,000
hits in January and will probably exceed 30k for February. This
has led us to take some security precautions (see below) to better
protect the material and still provide speedy content delivery.
This was primarily a business to business site but has now become
quite commercial and far exceeded our expectations. We are still
avoiding (for now) the moving backgrounds and animated bombardment
you get from other sites in order for you to get to where you
need to go QUICKLY even if you're on a dial-up.
Guitar player Reb Beach
is back from Europe again so John
and Buddy grabbed him and are putting some more parts on the
new mixes from the Nied's Hotel
Project. Everything is sounding great.
New Technologies & Better Quality
See our
Recordings Page
for a current description of our studio services
and technologies.
Though our backbone will always be audio engineering, TME has
primarily been known throughout the years as a company providing
exceptional services to other companies specializing in live
entertainment. We have also become known for being able to supply
superior recorded material due to the Audio Engineer and the
many excellent Producers and Songwriters that have been with
the company over the years. We have significantly upgraded our
studio technologies over the last year, incorporating nearly
$10k in recording, plug ins, and mastering software alone, as
well as offering new recording services to what was initially
an in-house project studio. Though our in-house facilities are
still limited to smaller performer-at-a-time based recording,
we are working on a small facility that may become available
to the public to book. We have developed great relationships
with area studios that are better suited for directing their
resources on that type of production work which allows us to
direct our resources to one of our strengths in mastering and
post-production. We have also begun offering some digital video
services as well.
New Site Security
While we're talking
about new technologies we would like to mention that all media
links on the site have been changed. You can no longer directly
access the media file and then download it. That's right you
freeloaders it's over now. And don't go scrambling to get the
files now because it's already been done right before your very
eyes without a moment of downtime. Though there are some crafty
ones that will still be able to. This new security will allow
us to provide the most secure content to the listener. It also
will allow us to do a lot of experimenting this year with giving
you the chance to hear mixes as they're being done in our project
studio that day. We are shooting for the ability to present work
that is even near or actually live! The possibilities are endless!!!
We are securing our most recent material first but there's still
some tunes to download for free.

New Remixes Are Done
All of the newest
material has been polished up a bit as we continually upgrade
our technology. Tony Marinacci
has finished mastering a new arrangement of
7 O'clock
by JJ
and Anthony Wilson. Tony has also finished working hard post-mastering
...And Over And Over.
All members of our Forums page can still see the
entire Here We Go video or hear the entire mix of Here We Go and How Low as well as the new remixes of ...And Over And Over and 7 O'clock. Go there
now!John
and Buddy brought
in guitarist Reb Beach for some
additional parts and are putting some of the finishing touches
on the new mixes from the Nied's Hotel
Project. Everything will be ready for the new CD
Sampler coming in late February.
The Local Scene
There's something
that we feel many of you would be interested in. It's called
Pennsylvania Rock Show
hosted by a member of our extended family
Bill
Domiano. It's
an unsigned rock show that airs on indiebandradio.com every Wednesday
from 8pm-11pm Eastern Standard Time (7pm-10pm Central Standard
Time) followed by The Witching Hour Countdown hosted by Cate
and Niki of the AK Music Scene Staff. So we don't normally lend
our efforts or name to many causes or projects, but not because
we're cheep SOBs, though some would argue that one but we feel
this is definitely one we can stand behind and say listen in
you'll enjoy.
New Flash Banner
We have a new flash banner designed by Bill's Web Studio.

Bill's Web Studio
We have just completed the video for Bill's Web Studio.

Bring On 2005
We would like to take
this time to wish everyone a Happy New Year!!! We are so excited
to begin what is already starting to be a busy year. Usually
this time of year we recalibrate the studio and really fine tune
other operations. But it's so busy now that we're all working
double time to keep up so we can continue to give the highest
quality services that has become expected of TME. We are sad
to have to say goodbye to John as he moves to Boston to better
pursue a technical career. Dude it has been great having you
as a member of the team. You will always be a part of the TME
family. Good luck man!!! We want to give a shout-out to DJ Mac
Metal who hosts "Big Hair Saturday Night" on 94.3 FM
WHUZ Saegertown, PA.
Remixes Tony Marinacci and
JJ
are working on a new arrangement of 7 O'clock.
Tony is also working hard post-mastering a new mix
of ...And Over And Over.
Both will be ready for the new CD Sampler coming
in February.
Daryl Strodes On Tour In China Daryl
is currently doing shows throughout China for Chivas Regal. So,
he will be there for awhile. Probably all of January,
2005. He hopes everyone has a good Holiday.
New Nied's Hotel John Vento
/ Buddy Hall & Friends are currently working
on a new Nied's Hotel
project. This one will be scaled down to 1 CD jammed
with all the best from the mammoth 28 song double CD. Some of
the songs will also be re-arranged and re-mastered.
